How much work is a pet?

I really, really want to get a puppy, but my parents are not so sure. They say if I get one that I have to be responsible and take care of it. That means walking, feeding, brushing and everything. Is it too much work? ~Mackenzie
it mostly dependeds on how much u want the puppy. how much time do u have to do the work and how much are u willing to do it? once u get the puppy u cant back down.

well u have to do all that stuff maybe everyday and i have 3 cats and 1 yellow lab so i dont think that they are that much work but a puppy may because you have to teach it how to use the bathroom and it depends on what dog u get so think about if u can do all of that
